Here are 5 can't-miss activities to enjoy on Venice Island during the holidays!

1) Venice Holiday Parade

The Historic Downtown Venice area will be alive with the sound of music and laughter on Saturday, November 26, as the annual Venice Holiday Parade makes its way down Venice Ave. Parade participants are sure to get into the holiday spirit as they march or ride by in festive costumes and decorations.

2) Historic Downtown Venice Christmas Lights

Christmas lights and decorations to festive events and activities, there's something for everyone in this charming little town. One of the most popular attractions is the display of Christmas lights on the palm trees stretched down Venice Ave.

The palm trees in Historic Downtown Venice are lit up with beautiful Christmas lights every year during the holiday season. The display is a popular attraction, and it's definitely worth checking out if you're in town during December. The lights are turned on every evening at dusk and stay on until midnight. So be sure to take a stroll through downtown Venice while they're shining!

3) Venice Christmas Walk

The Annual Venice Christmas Walk is a festive event that takes place on Thursday, Dec 1 from 5 – 8 PM. The Venice MainStreet organizes the event, which features live entertainment and light refreshments served in stores. There's also a chance to win prizes by participating in the raffle!

4) Venice / Nokomis Christmas Boat Parade

The Annual Venice / Nokomis Christmas Boat Parade is a festive event that takes place on Saturday, Dec 3 at 6:00 p.m. along the Intracoastal Waterway. The parade features boats of all shapes and sizes decked out in holiday lights and decorations. It's a great opportunity to see the beautiful waterways of Venice and Nokomis lit up with Christmas cheer!

You can watch the parade from South Nokomis Beach and North Venice Beach jetties, throughout downtown Venice, and the Venice waterfront area. Admission is free!

5) Venice Farmers Market
